Year & month of manufacture
What would be the best/easiest way to find out when my 928 GTS '92 was manufactured (year and month)? VIN is WPOZZZ92ZNS800551
N=1992 but what month? (Need to know for importation into US.)
First day of registration was May 4, 1992.
Can't find the sticker (Driver's door frame?) which is supposed to state this.

Should be right on the sticker in your door jamb. Was the sticker removed? (Painted car?)

My 86 has a plate at the front LH saying Built Date Jan 86
Sorry for poor picture but it is dark and cold outside. This plate is on an Australian delivered car and it may be a compliance import issue, not sure if on all cars.

Just phoned to my Porsche dealer. Any one of them can have the same information. Of course, they prefer to give these to the owner of the car, but I have a very good relationship with mine.
I don't want to upset him with too many phone calls, so would prefer if you try with yours first

Wise idea. Thank you. Tomorrow here is national fest, i will phone dealer Next friday. I hope those guys can help me. In the end, it is the only thing i don't know about my car. Except why the head office of francorchamps car Shop in belgium kept all the invoice since day one of my GTS .... and throwed the service booklet in the dustbin.who knows....
