tank vent trbl resolved!
I don't post much and no idea how to post pix, but awhile back I was looking for info about my 83s fuel tank building a lot of pressure to the point of not being able to close the fuel door. well I decided to figure it out and came up with a fix! It was the hard line from the inversion valve in rear wheel well all the way to the engine compartment at the firewall. The whole steel line was totally plugged with rust, What I did was to replace with 3/8 steel fuel line from NAPA bent to shape and new flex line from firewall to the carbon canister. The braided line from the firewall connection up to the canister was rotted away so think that was not purging water and fumes from the line and letting it sit in there to cause the rust. All seems to be good now and the tank is not getting blown up like a balloon. thanks to all who tried to guide me with pix and advice.

Glad to see you have the car back on the road! I think I saw you and the black 928 driving on Glassford the other day!
Going to Porsches in Prescott on this Saturday at the courthouse square (AZ PCA event)? I'm going!
Brian (the red 928)

Hey Brian. I don't see how I could have missed that red 928 if your were driving that day. I heard about the Porsche GTG in Prescott but not sure if I would attend. To much Porsche envy as mine is a little doggy looking at this time.
