Default auction '79 manual

No keys. But the entire locker is going with the car, so if the keys are in the locker, then yes. However, most likely the keys are not there.....

Don't know how they would know there is a 5 spd in there, since there is no way anyone's opened the doors.

How can they tell it's '79?

C'mon, someone in LA take it! Or bid for me please?

Aftermarket exhaust: Borla?

Let's guess what's the interior color?

Where are the keys.....

If California is anything like other states, it's quite a bit of paperwork to acquire the car before they can sell it which includes getting the title transferred.

A local storage unit company sat on a vintage Camaro for months before all the paperwork cleared before they could sell it.

Doesn't look like to me like Prussian, maybe black or petrol? (Prussian not available in '79, but could be repaint). Man it would be nice to have some eyes on the ground for this one. I see lots of great pieces I could use. Why can't this be near me?

In the CraigsList ad it lists the paint color as black...

Would a prospective buyer be allowed to go in and check it over?
Or is this one of those where you can only peer in from the doorway?

Looks like it was in the fallout wake of Mt. St. Helen...

Weird that it has so much dust on it, but everything else in the storage shed doesn't.

Good luck with the purchase (and you know who you are...)

Nice Low mileage 86. Not sure how to distinguish if its 86.5, but looks to be original, and documented.
No affiliation.

VIN indicates 86.0, engine bay doesn't really look impeccably maintaned or 46k miles and the perfect leather dash is as perfect as mine at 120k miles (which is to say not very perfect around the passenger side defroster vent.) Rest of the car shows very well though, i hope he gets his price.

Its a 86.5, tell tale is the pod thingy on the strut bar cross brace.
Overall at a glance, I can't see that this car is not original.'except maybe the front bumper looks to have been repainted.

VIN is in the ad, it's an 86.0. Seller is also kind of a dealer and has sold a few 928's previously, he would definitely advertise it as an 86.5 if that's what it was.

No one would move the pod thingy of an '85 to the strut brace to make it look like an 86.5, no one knows the difference.
Unless maybe, he does and spent more time moving OE parts around under the hood than he did research.
