1984 Grey Market Euro 928S back for sale
Stunning Grand Prix White with Black Leather 944 Sport adjustable interior. 81,000 miles. 17" AT Italia Riva rare wheels with Kumhos. Big red 996TT brakes up front with cross drilled rotors. S4 rear brakes. White face gauges. Euro H4 headlights. Blaupunkt AM/FM CD with [ ] Speakers and 10" Subwoofer in Spare tire well. The paint is in very good condition. The dash and interior is in good shape with the typical aging of the leather and minor wear on the drivers bolster. Mobil 1 and a fresh coolant flush and a new Interstate Battery. Fresh Fuel Lines replaced at TB/WP replacement on 9/21/2015. Short throw/shift kit with GTS shifter ball. DR sway bars and drop links for seriously aggressive stance. Rebuilt 86.5 5-speed trans is much more driveable and yet plenty of launch punch in the now usable 1st gear, no synchro issues at all. Clear lenses kit. Awesome Y-pipe for major power straight to a Formula 40 Muffler. Never raced, but I could maybe supply a track video or two if interested. Car sounds great and is well known for its speed and performance in the 928 community. This car is BUILT to drive! And I dont even listen to the 600 watt stereo... why!? It sounds so good, ask anyone who has attended a Frenzy in the last 10 years! ;-)

Beerfish,
Are you getting out of 928s? Or are you just flipping this one to buy another?
According to my calculations, this car, like the Stepson and The Schwartz car, is 1 of only 627 Euro cars brought into the US from 1984 to 1986.

That car is crazy fast. I drove it at Frenzy year before last. Hope you aren't getting out John!

Oh DANG! I knew you would chime in John!! Make me feel even MORE like **** for even thinking about selling her. Ugh. I will always hang with the awesome 928 crowd at events in the future though. Im not sure why I want to sell Her. Dont ask. It wont take much for me to change my mind back. She just keeps nagging me to go play, and my license doesnt need that right now.
She needs better whipping and a large group of other friends to embarrass, we just dont have it here in NoVA anymore.
$18K OBO, take her while you still can. Im gonna go mope for a couple more days.
Damn it.

I just now figured out your problem.
You drive in Virginia. Those cats don't play over there.
No radar detectors allowed. WHAATTT?
15 over is a death row felony? WHAATTT?
Just drive your car down here one last time and leave it here. You can play down here. Just fly down here and drive it whenever you want. Problem solved
You will miss it the second you sell it. Trust me on this.

Solution: Just relocate to another state, that allows radar detectors and is more driver friendly, and keep your '84 Euro. Once you sell it John, you WILL regret it, and only have to search for another Euro, and yours is already set up just right!, and we know how hard these are to find. ,In addition in a few years, who knows how much more it will take to buy one. Plus we would all miss you at Frenzy with your souped up Beer Cooler! Just say No!!

Damn it! You are all so right. I hate you. But yes, I am slowly trying to prepare myself for the horrible pain.
I have had many requests for the Y-pipe. I will just tell you. I believe it MAY have been built by what I think is a man after my own heart, possibly named Carl. 1 of 4 I believe at the time. SERIOUS BYAAAALS but not tooooo obnoxious. Its perfect. In every way. You will never find another one as good.
You guys are NOT helping me through this.

John, not a single one of us is going to help you through this! (Unless a very smart Rennlister snaps this machine up. No wait, that's not helping!) What would Frenzy be without you making those awesome sound effects?! You are simply in a NOVA crisis. Just remember, the WVa line is not far away...

I know, I know. This is brutal but I am REALLY hoping it goes to a lucky good driver who is local.
And the last time I went over the WV line for some "FUN" I was rewarded with a 144mph in a 55 zone. In court I got that down to 74 in a 55 and was permitted to "remove the vehicle" on my own because the nice nice officers dad used to own a 928 that he always loved.
Man, I should just track this beast, screw the streets.
Trying to find a few more pics now, my PC crashed at Xmas, damn!

White gauges.
Replacing the rear shifter cup in her garage
Interior before I put the GTS shifter in (The day I bought her in 2005)
New and old 928's at FraggleRock (some of you may recognize he cousin "Pearl")
And the ever so important MAF plug. A crisp clean MAF is crucial performance!
