Will one of you guys ****** this thing up please? I'm gonna be in Santa Barbara visiting my kid in a month or so and I would hate to learn this sad thing is still available which would force me to go look at it and drag it home. Thanks. Appreciate it guys. -Eddie

Not necessarily, Karl.

We'd have to do an indepth evaluation, all of about thirty seconds, of those who are agreeing with you first...lol.

But, seriously...if the car has more to offer than what is at eye-level...it could be worth an offer.

Parts car that requires at least $1000 to transport to me is just not worth it in my opinion. Especially with that interior/exterior. However, if I have a trailer and is within 3 hr drive, why not?

Five years from now...

"You guys remember when we were laughing about that nice straight non-sunroof, non-side molding '79 five-speed with the original wheels and trim for less than $1000?"

Exactly.

That is why I'm concerned if this is still available when I'm down in SB.

I will be driving my F250 diesel on that trip. It would tow that thing on a trailer back home like it wasn't even back there. Lol.

I know of a 1979 928 Guards Red with black interior in NY for sale - $2,500. Running condition and much nicer.

I'm on the phone with Dr. Phil's people...and they'd like to know when they could pencil you in...for a future episode(s)...or complete mini-series?

Also, I've got the Pope on hold...and were working out a deal for Sainthood...for your wife.

VanD - Since I'm a new member, I don't believe I have the option to PM you yet. I contacted the owner this evening and he's interested in speaking with you. He's the second owner and has had the car for around 30 years. I have his email address and can provide it to you.
