Default PS light very faint - not as bright as DS

Ive been having troubles with PS turn signal
Bumper lights and now the PS main light having problems.

What ive done.
Cleaned up fuses and relays.

Any ideas? Maybe consider adding another ground wire from the frame?

I noticed the light improved and the turn signal worked after disconnecting the bumper light but a few minutes later it dimmed and began to flicker.

let me know your thoughts.

thanks jpc

the usual failure point is the harness directly under the headlamp where the harness is secured with the metal press clamp once the harness flexes at this point enough times the wires break

Any good write ups or Pictures on rewiring the headlight without removing the bumper? I think i stretched the headlight wires when i replaced the bulb with an LED. The PS was having troubles before that but i think its now worse.

Basically, just looking for pictures of the wiring locations. Do i remove the fender well or lift the car up?

to get to the harness,
you remove the wheel,
support on jackstands.
then the feneder liner,
then the front block off plate.
put the lights up then you will be able to work on the harness.

The best way is to slice the outer sheathing lengthwise so you rewrap it with vulcanizing tape,
gently pull on the wires where they went through the clamp,
and the portion thats broken will stretch some as the insulation gives way ,
a lil bit of heat shrink and solder should restore function.
be sure to clean the grounds at the front of the car ,
there are a few grounding points,
see the WSM for further info

First thanks for the Help!

Finally I had a few minutes to work on it today.

I re wired the PS light and noticed nothing worked. So I decided to re hook up the PS bumper lights and now the PS head light works only on low beam.

What is the voltage supposed to be on the three wires?b ( checked voltage before bumper light hook up )

I believe I'm getting 11 and 5 volts.

Also - where exactly is the grounds upfront?

It seems better but I'm not home free yet.

I just found an inside fender ground bolt missing on the PS. I wonder if this is half or all of my problems. The Turn sign works half of the time on PS. High beam never works on PS. Bumper lights very dim. I need to figure out what size bolt. I cleaned the bolt near the radiator on the front side. Redoing the head light wire did help. The PS light is not flickering.

My whole problem was the missing ground bolt.

All the lights are bright. Turn signal works and high beams. Yeah!
