Love this car. Will you be taking it to SITM? Not that far for you now

My interior is worn,
I am working on a leather refresh/ recover to include ,
new dash, pod , A pillars, console and rear quarter liners.
I have a Carmel carpet kit,
not sure if I want to alter the blue /blue motif.

Stan was in the # 1 spot at Hershey getting there bright & early for the Porsche swap meet on Sat. Saw his very cool Prussian Blue euro and would guess it won't be going to SITM with that 2.72 rear ratio Maybe Stan will be going to SITM in something else T

Hi Stan - great work as always, she's a beauty! I may have missed it - did anyone mention the L999 on the option code sticker? That's the code for "paint to sample". It certainly looks like Prussian Blue Metallic, but that sticker suggests it's something else. Regardless, it's a pretty color.

Ray I would have liked to have an X pipe but space was limited,
this exhaust sounds different than most other 16v 928s,
its not louder just seems to have a different beat,
the engine is a hot number once over 3500 RPM.
Jarrod thanks for the input, The door jamb sticker says Prussian Blue

Interesting that the build sticker and paint code sticker are in conflict - never seen that before. Certainly looks like Prussian, so Prussian it is.
EDIT - To add further mystery, the factory WSM lists 1985 color code 33x as Metallic Sapphire Blue. For 1986, the same code 33X is referred to as Prussian Blue Metallic. I suspect the formulation is the same.

"Prussian Blue" 33X was a standard option colour for MY86 only. Not sure if Stan's can was built after August 85 to fall into MY86 ?
Has anyone seen an '85 car with Metallic Sapphire Blue 33X ? I hadn't noticed the duplicate of the number..... well spotted.
All the Prussian Blue cars I've seen have all been MY86
But of course it was possible to have any colour with option code 999...

Looks great Stan. Any particular reason for swapping back to the manhole cover wheels over the AM Cup iv's? The latter looked really good in your earlier pics.

Got a care package from Michigan Mr Budd does great work, I put it on,
its tedious but doable.
Dash is next then the quarter liners

Wow, Stan, that looks great. That color combo will be stunning when done. I remember seeing the car at your place last fall sticking my head in the window and thinking 'what a heap, no way that will come alive'. Unreal what you have done. Nice save. Beautiful car.
