That would make it likely a 4.5.
What is the engine number? Mainly the first part - the "M28/XX" part.

Car has a different idle every time i get it to opp temp and wants to die for the first five min when i start it up. Is my timing belt stretched or should i look elsewhere?

Im fairly concerned about this. I mean car runs smooth and hauls tail but the idle shouldnt be different... One time it gets to opp temp and its 1100 the next time im drivong it gets to opp temp and is at 500 then the next time 1500... I would assume the timings changing implicating the timing belt but could it be a fuel delivery or ecu issue?

Sounds like it could be a vacuum leak.
After replacing all of my rubber lines under the hood on my 84, fuel and vacuum, I had a fluctuating idle. It would be intermittent, but seemed heat related and I swore I could hear a vacuum leak. After using a can of carb-cleaner in the engine compartment, spraying every suspect area...it ended up being the large screw on the front of the throttle body, located below the spider plenum. Soaked it down with some penetrating oil, ran it in and out a few times and all was good. Idles prefect now.
Good luck.
