i timed it using the start area. (close enough)

looks like a fun track... put the camera inside next time so we can see the driving and hear the sounds!

Ah right.....and then it can be carefully examined and you can get "constructive" comments about how "poorly" you drive. You need only go back to just about any track video posted to see what to expect. note the smiley face which makes it "friendly" .....

Good job getting out there and having fun learning how great a 928 can be at speed and going around the twisty bits. I just wish more people would try it !!

sounds like he is wheeling the car around fine.... as long as he is not shufflesteering, i wont say much more than little things to get around the track faster.

Jim... you are in Troll mode!

This video was from my first morning session - track temps were way cold. I ran another session later that morning being much more aggressive with major traffic. hehe he ...

I was way cautious due to the main straight claiming two cars the day before.

Remember - Ive been tracking this girl going on 10 years ...

Good stuff.

Thirty years ago POC used to run at Firebird raceway in Phoenix same set up using the drag strip for a straight and I saw it eat a couple cars too. No real runoff and solid walls plus changing traction as you moved across the normal lanes...
Cool deal was one time they landed a Porsche powered airplane on the strip to have it on display...911 engine factory converted to gear driven cams for aircraft use ran a big reduction gear to the prop.

The track was way slick - unfortunately the weekend claimed more than just two cars.

Its been two years since the full main course was ran.

That particular configuration is the "slow" configuration. After the long sweeper at the end of the straight, the track has two configs, turn left at the end of the short straight or go straight at speed under the bridge. Too many cars wrecked on the configuration so, IIRC, no club will run that config again.

The two concrete walls will make you pucker up real quick - the next session I ran, I came in tight into the tower turn and on the inside race line, hit the apex perfect - came onto the straight and as soon the car shifted from 2nd to third - it went completely sideways ....

Thats the main reason I didnt run my Z06 ...
