Default Visual guide to Porsche bulbs

I was at 928Intl and was looking through some older catalogs on Tom's shelf- came across a nice bulb reference page in an old Euro Select catalog.

Never seen all the physical dimensions on one sheet before, maybe this'll be helpful to someone.

This is great, thanks Rob
The "tail light" indicator goes on each time I turn the lights on. All the lights work but I think there must be a mismatched bulb somewhere along the line. This will help me solve it I hope

Great reference, Rob.

I compiled an Osram bulb reference chart here:
http://928classics.com/4/post/2013/09/1.html

Worth noting, the rear taillamp & turnsignal bulbs are spec'd for 21 watts.
Common auto parts store 1156's are 27 watts!
So if you have early body 928 with melty lenses, might be worth checking bulb wattage.

Hey vanster..parking lights in the back are also monitored but don't have their own warning...they throw the tail light warning

I had similar thing happening...all tail lights accounted for, sockets thoroughly cleaned and brand new correct OSRAM bulbs...still tail light warning...then I found out about the rear parking lights and that they are monitored and alerts are communicated to driver with tail light warning...checked and sure enough..the body shop that had done some minor repair put a bulb in that had the wrong base metal...put the correct OSRAM bulb in ...happy.
