Beautiful car. I suggest changing the aluminum ball joint carriers.

What color red (code) is that? Indischrot?

Looks near new on the photos! Very nice car!

Thank you, she takes a pretty nice picture...but she shows her age in areas.

Cleaned the fender liners.

Little cleaning in the fender-wells.

Looking around underneath...

Even though it was steam cleaned...and given the mileage...I'm still surprised how clean this car is in spots.

Looks great! It is impressive how well most of the bits underneath survive. Those fender liners are really nice- how many miles on #225?

Right transmission mount looks narrow- replaced at some point?

Wheelwells are also gorgeous with a little elbow grease- two red horns- #107 has 1 red and 1 black.

Around 98K.

If you have a problem finding another red one...let me know. Free to a good home, too.

I'm looking forward to what you have planned for #225. I just pulled the trigger on a similar 1978 #280 car this month. A very original car with 84k miles, 5 speed, cork/cloth interior, runs very smooth, but needs the normal 928 TLC and upgrades. I paid $4,500 sight unseen and had it "Ushipped". Happy with the deal.Name: 00808_j4l6XdxiAC6_600x450[1].jpg

Very nice! Congratulations. Once you get a chance, more pictures would be great. Quite a few 78 projects taking place here, like #30, #225 and #277 and others, but #107 is well under way, and will probably go down in history as one of the best and most informational. Mine is just getting going and really won't hit its stride until retirement fills my daily activities. Sure, I'll probably do a few things along the way...but not enough to give me nothing to do come retirement time.

Pics of #280 --- Liveable interior for now, but plan to do a full Pasha Retro. Car came with full interior carpet kit. I've got lots of spare parts from my other cars: Transmissions with LSD, torque tubes, hardware, 310 hp euro motor( ???tempting transplant), brakes, phone dials ect.

We all get saggy after a few years......, But I'm very happy having manual seats

Rear seat did not see many rears

cracked dash...Now, very fixable

Cool car. Original. Not messed with. Not perfect, but a super clean example with honest patina. My favorite kind of car.

Good luck with her. She's a keeper.

I drove this car when it was for sale in OH. Has a bunch of paint imperfections (not a very good respect) but it did run well. Best of luck with it!
