WARNING , DISHONEST EBAY SELLER!
I am hereby giving you good people a fair warning about an ebay seller called "DANTE100"
The guys name is Dante Fabiani and he is out of Florida.
I bought a parking light lens that, from the picture, was not flawed. It cost me $35. When it arrived, it was packed in a layer of bubble wrap and shoved tightly (box being distorted type of tightly) into a single serving cereal box (the kind found at a diner or cheap hotel continental breakfast.
When I advised him that it was cracked in two places due to possibly being packed tightly (and subject to all the unknown packages it encountered on its way to N.Y. from Florida), he told me he would refund me only if I sent it back to him.
I sent his original package back to him in a larger flat rate box so he could clearly see the one way damage and it wouldnt be further damaged on its way back to him.
NORMAL PROCEDURE UP TO THIS POINT.
He advises me that he received the part but WILL NOT honor the refund offer (for $35 dollars!) because he claims its not the same part I bought from him.
He seems to believe that as expensive a 928 can be, I, with almost 800 transactions with feedback (more like 900 total) and a 100% feedback rating (mostly as buyer), would go through all of the trouble to spend $35 plus the $5.95 for return shipping to cheat him out of the original $35 part.
The reason I make this known is that he seems to have a lot of 928 parts and I felt compelled to give the forum a heads up in case some of you consider him as a "vendor".
If he cant stand by a simple incorrectly packed cheap plastic part, what will he do when you get a bum transmission?

Don't expect much from eBay. As long as he delivered something, they're good. About the only way to really make waves is to go through your credit card, who are more on your side.
You can't leave negative feedback on eBay Motors - the seller can delete it - so leave neutral with comment.

In cases like this I've just bypassed the eBay/PayPal conflict resolution loop and just had the charge reversed by my credit card company.
Simple.

WARNING , DISHONEST EBAY SELLER!
Ebay will totally refund you, as stated above they ALWAYS side with buyer, especially now since you have already sent the part back to the seller. You are good to go no worries.

Don't be so confident. I was the buyer and I got the item but it was damaged beyond use. Seller said he would send a replacement. He never did. Ebay sided with him. He had 10,000 feedback, I had 160. They are making way more money on him than me..

How long ago was that? Ebay changed the way they handle cases about 1.5 years ago. Also as i mentioned above, since the seller has the item back in hand already the buyer will Definitely get a refund.
