Here is Colorado were Leather loves to dry out and crack, I use Leather Honey after cleaning with the Lexol. I'm sure there are similar products. Looks like honey and really last a long time.

For conditioning/softening the really stiff leather in my '90, I have had good results from Surflex Leather Soffener. It (and lots of other goodies) are available at Car Care Online.

This. Works awesome. Supee soft and clean leather everytime. Bought in bulk as one gallon only. Well worth the price.

I was using Leatherique conditioner but found when I left some on a cotton shop rag for a long time the rag was dissolved by the product. I understand some of these products are essentially meat tenderizers that denature some of the proteins. I am using Lexol now but have not tried the shop rag test with it yet.

My wife hates the smell of Lexol. I have the 2 bottles just collecting dust in the garage. The Meguiars is great but does not clean as good as the former.
