Default DFW 928 Breakfast - 9/5 at Dixie House Cafe - Euless

Howdy Yall. It's time for breakfast again - the first Saturday of EVERY month, and this month it's this coming Saturday, September 5th.

It is the Largest Monthly gathering of Porsche 928s in the World
(I'm going to keep saying this until someone proves me otherwise - haha!)

Heads up - we will be going to Cars and Coffee in Plano for the Next First Saturday Breakfast (Oct 3rd). And since we are doing that - can I suggest a little drive for Lunch somewhere else - like a Drive type thing somewhere interesting.

See yall at Dixie House Saturday.
2051 Airport Fwy
Euless, TX 76040

ALSO- Third Coast Registration is coming up. I'm working on lunch reservations as we speak. We need someone to plan the drive - which will include checking the roads before going because with the flooding in May there were many roads & bridges under construction when we were in the area just a few weeks ago.

For those attending, I have a spare hood liner (both large and small pieces) and 9-2-8 decal available for sale. I'll bring them with me and I'm willing to sell for $50.

Hey, nice article in this month's Slipstream! For those that don't get Slipstream, our man on the scene wrote up a nice article in the local PCA rag, Slipstream, on our SpringFling trip to Rockport last Spring. Well done Pat!

^ +928. Slipstream is the PCA Maverick region monthly publication. There is also Panorama, the monthly National magazine. You get both with your annual PCA membership of $42. We have almost 2500 active and honorary members. I gave everyone a copy of Slipstream this morning. Look it over,. With a club of this size, there is something for everyone ... Happy Hours, DE, Auto Cross, Sunday Drives, Concours, Tech Sessions, Swap Meets, Luncheons, etc.

Obviously didn't make it, our master bath ****ter decided it was time to leak all over the b-room. So spent last night and today installing a new pot from the flange to the top and a new shut off valve. Of course that involved changing shower heads, faucets and painting it all, almost done.

Some people will do anything to get out of going to a breakfast GTG.

Also missed it... the Labor Day festivities got the better of us and we didn't end up home until 5am the night (morning?) before. Oops! Will try again next month at C&C.
