I have a set of wheels that are supposedly for snow. Of all the wheels around I have never seen these before. Anyone familiar with them. I am going to put them on eBay, thinking the VW clan might find them interesting. Good for a VW bus

They are rare 928 wintercult wheels (search here for "wintercult" to find more threads). Made for 928, and yes, made for snow tires - they're narrower than the regular rims.

Popular with the VW Golf crowd too, but I suspect some 928 owners would like 'em too

Vanster -- PM your ask on them. I don't 'need' them since no on-purpose snow driving, but might be interesting to add to my 928 carmobilia collection.

If you got those with Chris F 928..then those were likely the ones that came with my 89 GT (Cdn spec). I sold them to him way back in like 02 or 03 when he drove from Cali to Canada...

Cool thing to have esp if you drive your 928 in the winter..

Yes these came from Chris, same wheels and we go round and round

Here California we are lucky to get rain so my need for winter wheels is minimal
