Qualified 'Yes' -- Only if you need one someday.

Edsel Murphy reminds us that the tools that aren't there are the ones we are most likely to need.

The factory sunroof opening is handy for... closing to reduce glare in my eyes from above. Closing to keep rain out. Closing to keep 'cool' inside in summer. I'm running out of things. You'll never need the crank unless you open the sunroof but can't close it. Unless the sunroof motor or gearbox fails and the crank is the only way to move the panel, the crank is extra sprung weight.
