Default Another Shark headed to Dallas

Still not sure how I convinced the wife, but it is happening. We are adding another 928

Not long after Stephen Porter posted his thread looking for Roger and Sean we started speaking. https://rennlist.com/forums/928-foru...n-r-88-s4.html

We worked out a deal over the last few days and I am now speaking with transport companies to get her to her new home.

Congrats. Well bought. You can get all your bits and work done around here easy enough.

BTW, new owner buys bkfst at the next meeting. Looking forward to that.

Thanks Doc. I've been around for a while now. Even made a few 928 DFW breakfast in the past and attended 3rd coast.

This one will be joining another great car. About two years ago we picked up Bob Voskian's (AKA Voskian) pristine silver/black 89 S4 that he had from 96-2013. Fell in love with the car and the 928 community quickly.

Congrats on adding an exceptional car to your already exceptional fleet. Home in DFW area is a treat for any 928, considering the support base there.

Andy, it's your fault.

For those that don't know, I came across Andy's post about his experience buying his 928 and driving it back from the northwest then called him to find out more.

He talked about how the car changed his life. The strong Dallas 928 community, all of the friendships he had made, and the fact that we have Sean and Roger here locally to handle all service and parts.

Both my wife and I got hooked quickly. Everything Andy hit on was spot on.

Jim - I'm glad I could help! The DFW928 owners are a great group of people and my 87 really has changed my life!

Congrats on the wife and the buy! I look forward to seeing that car.

Funny how well this thread fits my mood. I was just thinking about what a miracle it was for me to find my car, then find Sean and Roger, and then discover the DFW 928 gang and its gatherings. I was thinking about it because Sean fit me in his schedule tomorrow to do some work needed to increase my confidence for another long trip adventure. The DFW gang is truly blessed!

Brad
