Default Long drive to GA coast. Advice?

This board was incredibly helpful in getting me back to DFW metro after encountering a starting problem while in CA for Christmas. I am hugely grateful! My car and I would not have made it back without your recos!

I start off on the next 928 adventure 9/3. DFW, TX to Jekyll Island, GA and back. Route is:
I-20 to Shreveport
I-49 to Baton Rouge. (Widower dinner date with widow.)
I-10 to Jacksonville.
I-95 to Jekyll Island. (Vacation with family, meeting 1st grandson w/my name.)

Sean Ratts is going to remove known issues tomorrow. But, just in case, do any of you have any recommended 928 mechanics along that route?

I am really looking forward to this trip!

Thanks!

Brad

We worked out a deal over the last few days and I am now speaking with transport companies to get her to her new home.
You're a lucky guy, she's one of a kind...and the 928 is special too!

Another great addition! I can definitely say my 928 is much happier down here in Dallas vs. Chicago. It really is great to have some of the most knowledgeable people in the country right in your back yard. After working on the car myself in the northern weather for the past 4 years, I don't take it for granted... that's for sure.

A few updates on the car since the recent purchase.

First I would like to thank the previous owners Brian (IcemanG17) and Stephen Porter with keeping the car in such great condition.

The car has close to 105K miles on it now and drives like a dream. She now has a new timing belt, water pump, cam gears, porkentensioner, coolant and brakes flushed, four new tires, alignment, Battery and more. X pipe is on it's way as well.

Looking forward to challenging Andy Kay at some of the future concour events
