Default Instrument Panel bulbs

1988S4-preparing to replace a broken odometer gear. Plan to also replace the instrument panel bulbs. Does it use 1.2w, 1.5w or 2w bulbs? Or, does it use a combination of all 3, or does it even matter which I use?
Anything else I should replace while I'm in there?
Thanks.

There are several different types of bulbs used in the instrument cluster.

Give Roger a call - he'll sell you what you need.

I just ordered these from him for my 87. He does not stock the gear selector (for an auto) bulbs in the dash.

Anyone here want to point me in the right direction to get them, or do I need to search? Lazy... and I hate the search.

Are you guys upgrading to LED or sticking with incandescents? I put an LED in my headlight switch, because the old bulb is burned out. As a result, it's the brightest thing in my car lol...I need to pull the pod and do the rest of them, which I will do when I get around to fixing my odometer gear...

I am just going incandescent. I don't have a problem with the look or dimness.

Jager Engineering has an LCD package for the shifter.

I am looking for the gear selector bulbs in the dash, not for the shifter console.
