Video is good now. Super clean and nice-looking car.

Interesting video, especially the Steve Williams / Borla part. I have one on my '79. Carl Fausett of 928 Motorsports is the one with the Salt Flats record and Amazon actually sells a model of his car used for that run. He was going to try to beat it last year, but unfortunately got rained out, which by the way also happened again this year, but Carl wasn't there.

Just drove mine to WI and back to have a 6-speed Z06 transmission put into it at 928MS. It's a Spyder (convertible) that 928MS Supercharged with full GTS brake upgrade and some other cool stuff. Here's a photo link - https://1979porsche928spyder.shutterfly.com/pictures

I could be mistaken, but I think he was referring to the speed run with an '87 in the summer of '86 when Al Holbert set a new world record for a stock production car by going over 171 on the salt flats. Holbert was an IMSA champion and the Director of Porsche Motorsports, North America at the time.

Just recently I had t get the wife a new car

So I drove a lot of new nice cars

They were great

Even had very cool sport exhaust buttons

The old 928 is always in that mode

As great as the new cars are there is something raw about these old cars that makes me regret not using it for so long

I spent my 20's driving this car when it was new

It was awesome back than and it still is awesome with me close to 50

Meat car
