Default Question to CIS tuning experts about a 5.2l 16V hybrid engine

Hi @ all,

my recently finished 5.2 16V CIS hybrid engine is running well and smooth.
Healthy 355hp / 450NM at dyno run. Still without exhaust manifolds

All seems to be fine ....except the partial load CO value at 3000 RPM .
It is 8% instead of 0.5% as required for the so called AU ( german type of exhaust gas examination )
Idle speed CO value is ok.
I should mention that the car has an aftermarket catalyst to meet german environment pollution laws.
At the previous stock 300hp 4,7 engine everything was ok.

The problem is that the shape of the air cone around the sensor plate of the air flow housing doesn't fit anymore 100% to the new engine. The V-shape direct below the zero level should be wider then before . This would mean less deflection of the sensor plate = less fuel to injectors at partial load.

Did anyone here , american or finnish CIS experts , work into that topic ?
Any solutions ?

Btw I passend that AU examination ...a pal lifted the sensor plate with a strong magnet during measurement

the FrankenCIS project might be a solution http://forums.pelicanparts.com/911-9...rankencis.html
