Nice to see a shark getting some well deserved coverage.

Now that's cool!
Thanks so much for posting this, it really is a shot-in-the-arm
for encouragement,
just knowing that there are 928s out there in such amazing condition.

Chris is a local Detroiter. His S4 is VERY clean and original. He was at the Councours d'Elegance at St. John's in Plymouth, Michigan last weekend - a Councours that rivals Pebble Beach. 2 La Ferraris were there - TWO! He was in the "Supercars of the '80s" class. Had some stiff competition like a 308/328, Countach, Aston Martin, Testarossa, etc. Didn't see a ribbon on his car, so I don't think he placed, but it was still nice to see a 928 represented!

Yes, You're indeed correct regarding the concours! I was a VERY tough class which also included a Porsche 959!

All in all I was proud to have been included and the 928 made a great showing. Lots of interest was there for our cars, including two offers and one of them the person just kept bugging me when I stated she was not for sale. One of the judges seemed to make it his mission to come find me and say how glad they were I brought it out. He also stated how well the car was presented.

The day was great with clear skies, a wonderful lunch and dinner supplied.

Some pics below from the show.

Early Morning staging...about 7:30.am. Free coffee and donuts

Of course get to keep!

Putting the lights up really drew attention. Many saying they either didn't know they articulated or have never seen them in the raised position.
