Default Looking for a CIS fitting M12 1.5 Male to M12 1.5 Male

All,

Just back to working on the 928 after moving, new house, new job, and a new baby (life is crazy).

I put all of the intake and injection system back on my '81 Euro S 5 Speed and now I am 1 fitting away from being able to start it for the first time in a year.

I need the fitting which connects the passenger side of the WUR to the fuel line return to the FD.

It is the fitting that is the same size and thread on both sides. From what I can tell it is (M12x1.5 AN Male) X (M12x1.5 AN Male)

Thanks all for your help.

Did you try calling BAT Inc down by you? They stock most metric fittings.

Just called. No luck.

They have a bunch on AN stuff and Metric stuff, but nothing that is Metric to metric.

I have many spare M12 1.5 to M10 1.5 fittings. If I cant find what I need I may end up making it. I figure I can TIG weld additional material on the small end of another fitting, Turn the welded part on my lathe to a cylinder, use a die to cut the right size threads, and run a dill bit through to clean the port. Would probably take about 1.5 hours to complete, but I'm not sure I have a choice?

Did you try Greg at J2 Precision? He's got an entire wall of metric fittings and adapters, he may have what you need. 714 879 9072.

Special-t-auto also has some fittings on their page. Always thought of trying their CIS fuel pressure gauge, back when I had a reason for it. Picked up a double banjo bolt for the WUR at one point.

Default CIS WUR fittings

Sorry to rain on your parade, but I make the threads in the regulator body M10x1 and M8x1. This is an -086 WUR, but I doubt the cast iron body varied in its threads for any WUR model.

I found a CIS specialist in Texas

I believe I have the proper fitting on order. As mention by a couple, it is a M10 fitting, not a M12 as I originally thought.
