Default Speedo/tach not working, abs lock and airbag lights on, no digital dash

Hi everyone. I have been doing some bulb replacement on my center console. Now that I have it all together, I noticed that the gauges (except battery) do not work, the digital dash will not come on, and the abs and airbag lights are on.

I susoect I blew a fuse somewhere, but am looking for a little help. Any suggestions on what to check?

Car had been driving fine, so I don't think I have an abs issue.

I am in a place where I don't have my Wiring Diagrams, but having the constellation of faults you now see after doing work in the center console my guess is that you have somehow violated a ground wire. As multiple ground wires from different appliances are often joined on there way to a ground point, you will see multiple failures if just one is violated. In fact the entire ground point may be violated and there are other dysfunctions that you may not be aware of yet. Go back and meticulously re-trace your tracks. Remember grounds are brown wires.

Good suggestion. The only two I think I had disturbed were the digital clock and the lighter. Digital clock lights and tells time, so it could be the lighter. Will inspect.

Also might be good, and complete, to check the fuses. The cigarette lighter has two red power source wires. The one for the heating element is larger and carries a higher amperage. If that had inadvertently contacted something a fuse may have blown to disrupt power to it, and other appliances.

DARN FUSE 24! I THOUGHT I CHECKED YOU!

That was the culprit. Ground connects were all good, but when I looked at fuse 24 I saw it was a little browner than normal. Swapped it and got blinded by my LEDs.

all good, and thank you!
