Looking to purchase some Lloyd's floor mats for my '82 Weissach and would like them to match the carpet color and then have a simple block font emblem that reads PORSCHE in a brown color to match the dash/console.

Did Porsche give names for their carpet colors?
Lloyd's seems to offer quite a few such as Saddle, Sand, Cashmere, Bamboo etc. but then the shades differ depending on the website viewed.

Hopefully someone with a Weissach can chime in.
Also, any better choices than Lloyd?

Definitely black matts with a cork interior. That's how I had done my previous '79 convertible and it looked real good as well as hiding the dirt that the matts encounter.

Your interior looks very pristine in that pic.

My car it's not the same interior color but the black makes a nice contrast with the rest of the interior.

Hadn't considered black but I think you guys are on to something. Black with PORSCHE in sand thread might look really good.

I generally prefer to not change the color scheme of an interior, so I'm a fan of matching the carpet color and going tone on tone with any embroidery.

So my vote would be match the carpet color if possible and choose an embroidery thread that is close to the leather or the mat.
