I called the owner. Seems like an honest guy. Lots of work done by a shop. Needs a repaint (again) and interior work (dash cracks, ripped leather).
It is an S4. He mistakenly listed it as a GT.

I'm not sure whats better: a 928 needing intake refresh/timing belt/mechanicals vs. paint/interior.

Normally I'd say the mechanicals would be easier but on a 928...

that's a heck of a deal...210000 means she's a good runner. Who cares about interior, drive the hell out of it!

Thats 210,000 km. That's only about 130k miles.

Might not be a GT, but listed as a 5 speed.

Actually a car from Canada is probably the easiest import since our cars are identical to the U.S. versions, so there are no compliance issues. And it's over 25 years old

Now if your importing a car from Europe or Asia that's a different story.

I agree. This car is quite easy to import. My car is an 89 and lives in Florida. I enquired what it would take to re-plate in Florida and was told by MOT that it was quite easy since it is >25 years old.
