We are coming for the fun aspect - the competition is way too tough for us.
A good excuse to get out of the office and meet up with good friends and look at exceptional cars.

Which one of you concours dorks has the original valve stem caps? Trying to decide whether my original set of Michelin valve caps I have will be ok on the Cobalt car since Anderson went and bought Bridgestone tires. Huge demerits on the judging field?

Bumping to the top one more time.... Still some time to help out your fellow 928er's.... I'll likely close this out at the end of the month and then distribute the funds to the entrants.....
List of participants is still the same as listed before....I'll update that if I hear otherwise...

Here's the " final" list..:

Chris von Pechman CT 1993 Zermatt Silver GTS 5 speed
Jim and Sue Corenman WA 1993 Black GTS 5 speed
Mark Anderson CA 1991 Cobalt Blue Metallic GT 5 speed
Jeff Jeffers CA 1989 Guards Red S4 A/T
Roger Tyson TX 1988 Guards Red CS/SE 5 speed
Mark Woudsma CA 1981 Grand Prix White 5 speed
Rafael Vinoly WA 1980 BMW Anthracite Gray 5 speed

We're getting close, just about a week away. Time to close this out. Thank you to all who supported the participants. I've sent out an email to all the participants to figure out how to distribute the funds. Stay tuned....

The Tyson team would like to thank the 928 community for the very generous contribution to help all the participants attend this prestigious event.

In an effort to share our own excitement in attending the Carmel-by-the-Sea Concours we would love to meet with any interested folks on our road trip.

Jim Mayzurk, Sean Ratts, Andy Kay and myself will be leaving DFW early on Friday morning. Our route is pretty direct as we will be trailering my 1988 SE to the event.

Traveling on I40 via Wichita Falls, Albuquerque, Gallup, Flagstaff, Bakersfield and Carmel. If you want to see the car, meet for coffee or join us for dinner - let me know who, what, where and when? We would love to say Hi.

Good luck Fellas and I hope all have a safe, ticket free trip there. Thanks for representing all of us out here in the 928 community.

So...is this the first time Jim and Sue haven't "driven" a 928 to an event?

Shall we order up a Cayenne coolant pipe repair kit for Jim?
