I had a great time last year, the older small displacement race classes are a blast. As is hanging out with the group. I unfortunately am back in the work world and vacation time is a premium here. Ed, I was just telling friends last night about seeing Janis' car at the R&R Hall of Fame a rew years ago. Thanks for that pic.

Dang Steve - we'll miss you. Hacker - guaranteed, if you ever make this event, as a car guy (who loves vettes, Shelbys, etc) you'll never not make it again. It isn't that far of a drive for you. I'd love to see 10 sharks this year! We need only 3 or 4 more to make this happen!
Less than one month out - time to register!
For everyone's info, we will have two very special Porsches next to the Joplin 356 under the tent - an authentic 1974 RSR - one of 15 cars built by the factory for the IROC, and driven by Petty, Fittipaldi, Revson and Foyt, and a 1957 356 Carrera GS Speedster - one of 75 ever made. Enjoy hundreds of other spectacular Porsches as well (especially Rick's and Otto's!).
We also have the Friday night Welcome Party at the Double Wide Grill in Cranberry Twp next to the hotels, with good food, great people, and lots of P-cars for an impromptu gathering (July 17th). Plus this year, we are having a Friday rally - leaving the Double Wide at 2pm Friday, driving through the beautiful rolling hills of SW PA, and returning at 5 pm or so, in time for the Welcome Party. So come early - no cost to participate!

Just a little update on what we have planned for Saturday evening July 18th.
We booked dinner reservations and parking spaces at Quaker Steak and Lube in Cranberry for 6:00 pm. If the weather is decent, we can sit outside. (Please Lord no more rain!!!)

We will try to sneak a countryside fun run in there too. Not too long, but with some challenges and opportunity to stretch the legs a bit. This is good shark territory up this way!

Woo hoo - one week out and filling up fast now! If you are thinking about this event, register now. We have a few sharks for the lawn, and I'd love to see a few more!

In anticipation of actual being able to attend this year, I reserved the hotel room for the 17th and 18th, (special rate is not available, all booked up), hope to finalize attendance by Tuesday and register for the event.
Looking forward to this, tried to make it last year and family gathering at the last minute prevented me attending. No family event on the calendar right now

Big thanks to Ed, Ann and a Rick and the Allegheny Region
Attended the PVGP events Friday night and Saturday, and wanted to say thanks to everyone associated with the event. First time I attended and I will tell you it won't be the last!
It is an amazing car event, not just watching the vintage cars running but all the cars that attend and on display. It's mind boggling.
I think we had 8-9 928's and premium parking spot thanks to Rick.
This is a must attend event, and next year I plan on attending Sunday also.
Great job everyone!

Most fun is getting together with our 928 friends! I hope more will come next year!

Yes, it was fantastic, and great seeing you Glen, and of course our regulars Otto and Robin too. Rick and I sweat a bit with the activities we had to do, but it was a fantastic weekend. It is one of the best car functions I've ever attended anywhere.
