would you please put the wing back on the back of the car, rather than stuck up on the roof! that's disturbing, visually and scientifically !

and if your nose was attached to your chest, it would stick out as far as well....... point is.... your nose doesn't belong on your chest and the wing doesn't belong (for any reason) on the roof. most importantly, it makes a cool pic, look really stupid. otherwise very cool. however, don't know how I feel about seeing the rivets in the bolt on fender. if its a concept car, why not just have those fenders custom shaped with no bolt on look?

Hi Tom,
I also really like your work. I agree on cleaning it up a little so your design shows through more clearly. As Matt says, it doesn't matter what others think, it matters how well you develop your vision. If your concept is pure, other will mostly love it, anyway. Please keep up the great work.
Good luck,
Dave

I like them, they remind me of the 911 (993) GT2 fenders and quarters.

Precisely. One (not the one in the link below) recently sold for more than $700K.

There is a lot that make me think Lancia Stratos and BMW M1.

I like it.

Interesting work.

Thanks for sharing

I still have a problem with the wing. In fact, even I'm used to the S4 and later wing, I still haven't seen something really well integrated.

Will that wing really work at the top of the hatch?

Yes Stratos is a dream machine and the Procar M1 is equally light and an awesome creation. I don't typically care for BMWs though.

Would have been really cool if Porsche did for 928 what BMW did (Procar) for the M1.

NO of course not... just a over zealous photoshop arbitrary positing issue!

that part of the roof has very low pressure and would disrupt flow to the rear of the car and make a lot more drag. it looks absolutely silly too!

it would only slow it down.....create huge pocket of stagnate air. Effectively increases the frontal area as does the flares....

While I admire your skills, there are many styling elements and equipment that made me cringe a little. Then again it is your car and thanks for sharing.

Hey thanks for all of the feedback guys! I really appreciate the criticism as well as the the words of encouragement. I'll take it all on board.

My plan is to produce a range of different 928 designs (as opposed to revisiting & refining one), so I'll keep all of the feedback in mind for the later designs.

It's all just a bit of fun really. For what it's worth the position of the spoiler was mainly a visual thing, as were the side pipes in the previous design. For the roof spoiler, I took some inspiration from the Alfa Brera which I quite like also.

Anyhow, please keep the comments coming, both positive & critical, & hope you like the next one when it comes along!

All the best,

Tom
