Need A/C compressor
Just pulled the A/C clutch off my 83. Clutch bearing went south and tore up the shaft surface. Figures I just moved to Phoenix. Anyway , who has the best price on a reman. compressor unit? Looks to be the Denso 6E171 compressor. Its the original unit and still runs R12. Thanks, Kevin

I got mine from Roger. It's a Denso...don't remember the model number but that seems about right (mine was a '86.5, not sure if they are the same or not).

My '83's original (R12) compressor had 60K miles when i removed it.
It worked great and I just listed it on ebay a day ago.
Cleaning out the garage.
I will sell it to you cheap ($100) Hold On if you want it.
