The problem with my '84 auto has been diagnosed as a failing neutral switch on the transmission. I've found an OEM part for about $100. The work shop manual talks about it, but doesn't explain the repair well. A search on this site and others reveals little information.

Anybody out there replaced one of these on the 4 speed? Any help will be appreciated.
