Hmm. You bring some guys down to the GTG and I'll have some Hacker available or some Spotted Cow.

Interesting perspective, I couldn't' imagine attending such an event without my wife along.

I get HP and Spotted Cow delivered to my front door, your going to have to sweeten the pot a little better then that

Reality is, July and most of August is off limits, weekends are booked usually be February for us. This is why the only GTG we might attend this year is Sharktoberfest.

Plan is to hang out Saturday, shoot, drink, share stories, possible tech session at my shop with a lift to do looking around owners cars. Have catered dinner at the club. Sunday do a spirited breakfast drive on some twisted roads. I am open to suggestions

Well, it looks like you picked a weekend I can't make. Boo.

Last year was a lot of fun and I was hoping to be able to make this year. Such is life.

For anyone thinking about going:

Go. Really, just go. It's a ball. Good food, great cars, even better people. Jeff and his wife are awesome hosts. The venue is really nice.

It does take place at a shooting club, so if you are totally against guns, or seriously afraid of them, you might not want to go.
But if you aren't into them, go anyway. Last year a couple guys has zero interest in shooting. When a bunch of us went out to shoot, they did something else (don't know what, I was shooting). They were politely invited to come shoot, they politely declined and that was it.

If you don't have any guns or have never shot, go anyway. Last year, several people brought a couple different guns and extra ammo to share. Tracy, Rob's wife, had never shot before. She tried it and had fun. Bill & Brian were from other countries, and had little or no experience. Even though they showed up in cars with the engines in the wrong end, they were welcomed and had fun trying the guns out. I think Bill (being an engineer) was more interested in examining the machine work in the Smith & Wesson 357 than he was in shooting it. Which was fine too.

TL/DR - the event is at a gun club, but you don't have to bring guns or even want to shoot to have a really, really good time.

We shoot trap and could possibly pull the covers off the sporting clays throwers as well. Can't shoot long rifle and shotgun at same time as courses cross.
Can shoot pistol and shotgun at same time as ranges are separated.
