Default PS banjo fitting leak

I have a very small,(one drop on the garage floor every morning) seep from the high pressure line banjo fitting to the steering rack. I checked everywhere else and no where else is wet.

I re torqued the bolts to 22 lbs, but the leak remains.

The rack is less than 2 years old and both PS lines were rebuilt by a hydraulic shop in Houston.

I got four new crush washers, but have read a few guys have used a rubber PS seal from Caterpillar part # 376-2469.

Supposedly the seal is impervious to hydraulic/PS fluid and seals better than the OEM crush washer.

Does anyone have experience with this seal as I really don't want to change the seals out twice.

Thanks

I've fitted the washers with the rubber seal and they worked but this was only a couple of weeks ago so not sure of the long term reliability?

OEM crush washers work fine. I have done the banjo fittings several times on two cars and never had a leak. As long as the surface is cleaned and smooth and new washers are used you will be fine.
