Default Porsche company film

A little while ago I stumbled on a topic (either here or on 928UK, I don’t remember) of a Porsche club that visited the Porsche company somewhere in the early eighties. During their visit they where shown a company film and one of the visitors filmed it. Since it was a film made from an on screen film the quality wasn’t really good and U couldn’t quite understand what was said. Because it had a lot of 928 content it caught my attention and I was hoping to find the original company film somewhere on the net. Guess what, I did. Enjoy!

That was fun. I wish it showed even more of the assembly process. I dig the space-age music and sound effects.

April 1986.
Here's a link to the film as I first found it. It's in English so anyone can have fun translating the German to English :-)
It's about 4 weeks ago that I've first seen it.
It wasn't me that uploaded it on youtube. I don't even know the guy that did
The upload was made on 03/27 indeed. Thanx to a member of the Belgian Porscheforum I did find it.

Thanks for posting, Igor. Super cool!

I laced together your English audio with Christian's HQ video here:

A friend of mine converted this video titled "Produzierte Qualität" from analogic to numeric, then Christian get it uploaded on Youtube

I get this tape on eBay long time ago, with two others from "Porsche Videothek, Porschefaszination auf Cassetten" as titled on the tape box cover.

On the bottom of this cover you can also read "Porsche, Fahren in seiner schönsten form".

The other tapes are "Die Porsche-Club-Faszination" and "der Weg ist das Ziel", not much of an interest for sharksters.

Niether on the box, nor on the tape itself or in the video any date or period of time is mentionned, so you'd had to guess when this film is shoot!

Cheers,

Michel

I don't know when it was made, but at 18:40 you very clearly see pre-1985 style seats.
