That is one amazing video. Thanks for sharing.

I'd guess it was 1984/85, there was one shot of the engine that had a MAF.

Great video! It shows a paint marking (at 13.33) on the cover plate of a diff housing reading A28.02 which should be a ROW 84.

Thanx Jim, it's nice being able to see it in English. I'm taking German lessons but there's still a way to go with them

Some clips were from '80-81 but most was '84 MY. ROW engines had twin distributors but seats were still old style.

Great video, thanks for posting. Gives you appreciation for what "hand made" really means. Made me wonder if any of those cars being assembled are now owned by someone here.
