Default Just found this 1978 on ebay...

"Original" 1978 Guards Red 928 with 5-spd, no sunroof, on ebay. Dealership stated that the car sat for 20 yrs, then taken out to have the interior restored (front seats were so bad they replaced it with mismatched seats), and "minor things" and now it's running!

Looks nice, and year, 5spd, no sunroof, may be worth it for someone (real 928 enthusiast).

What do you think?

Bleh, someone scribbled all over that pig with lipstick.

Cheap badly done vinyl front seats which don't match velour rear seats, S4 spoiler, S front spoiler, cheap vinyl door panel recovering, loose pod with wires hanging out.

Looks like someone previously pulled it out of a field judging by the rust underneath.

sadly they stuck spoilers onto a spoilerless car
Note S4 tack on to hatch, front PU isnt cut for air duct thus there will not be airducts behind it as it wasnt an option till 82

Also looks like there's overspray all over the undercarriage. Not a very nice looking example, especially with the added spoilers and rubstrips.

I really dislike the OB's with an S4 spoiler added. I do not mind it on the later S4's, but on the early ones it looks so cheap and "ricer" if I can say that.

I like the "fun, light project" quip, very amusing!

It looks ok but as you look through the pics the car was probably really rough and has had a quickly done refurb. The interior does not look right. Dealer probably has a reserve well above value. You will be paying for things that would need to be redone IMO.

Height seems extreme even for an unsettled suspension. Has an AMC Eagle look to it.
