Nice '79 w/34K miles - Madison Heights, MI
No affiliation, but just randomly stumbled across this nice '79 in a hole-in-the-wall used car shop on Stephenson Highway in Madison Heights. Found the place online at:

Asking $19.9K - seems high but it looks great. Anyways - just a random encounter and thought someone would be interested.

One of our own, Andy McCulley (Range Rover), did a very good writeup on it at German Cars For Sale here:

looks like more than 34k miles wear on those seats and the carpet. I would want to check the odo carefully. I do love red/tan however. Would be good to see an engine bay shot or two.

Thanks for posting that Jim!
I called the dealership before I wrote the article, and they gave me the name of the previous owner (also told me that they believe it to be a one-owner car). I looked the guy up and saw some pictures of it on his Facebook page, and it looked really nice and clean. IDK about the miles being original, but on a car this old, wear and tear aren't always commensurate with mileage. Aside from the seat and some wear on the carpets, it looks to be in really great shape.
I was told that it has been repainted at some point. Despite this, it is definitely one of the nicest OB's I've seen on the market since I started watching it in 2007. Honestly, I could probably count on hands and toes the number of really nice OB's I've seen up for sale in the past eight years.
