Default Need spoiler recommendations for my '86 928 Racer

I have the factory spoiler, but want to go wilder in a more tasteful fashion: Share your pictures....now!

I like keeping the distinctive 928 lines, so no excessive weirdness please.

Mark

Mark, Spoiler below came off of the owners ride (33 Ford) of Ridetech. Was originally going to use it on JP but decided to go spoilerless. Will need slight tweaking ato make it work. It is well made fabrication. as you can judge by the rest of the 33 build below. $ 175 and you can pick it up next time you go fishing in Rockport. T

thanks Tony, that's neat though I have a stand-up wing on the back with an adjustable "lip" at the base as well. I should have elaborated that I needed a front lip/splitter solution...should be MUCH closer to the ground than what I have :/

I'm re-doing my rear spoiler brackets: bringing down a little and changing the mounts to mimic a GT3 more closely.

Hi Mark,
I make these out of 1/8 inch aluminum. I have them on my track car and wifes car. The red car in picture is James Morrisons car.He had it wrapped in Carbon Fiber. I sell them raw aluminum.

Hey Ed, you have a closer up front pic of your spoiler mounted? That looks sweet.

Sure here you go. It also does a great job of holding a repaired plastic spoiler together.

That looks great Ed, I now have that on my "List"! Every time I think I am catching up on my 928 List, someone comes up with another great product or idea that I just gotta have! Thanks for keeping me chasin' after it!!

Hi Mark,

Here is a shot of Glen McCartney's 928 with Ed's splitter and some extra supports...he has had it on there for years and it still looks great.

Cheers,

Dave

This is what I built for my 80 Euro S, it has proven to be quite strong, even after contacting a raccoon at about 40 mph. I kept the extension at 3.75" past the stock spoiler because it is street driven. For a race car you could extend it farther forward. It is made out .125 aluminum sheet and replaces the front belly pan the car came with.
