Way cool! Did you eliminate speakers in the upper door section or maybe just hide them behind perforated material like the early cars did?

I didn't think airbags were available until '90. The '88 appears to have them as well.

Thanks for all your comments,
The sound system has not been installed yet. The cable , etc are there but the system and speakers will be installed later

That's right. I bought a complete 1995 GTS dash and all its parts from Germany. Still had to make 2 metal side holding and one airbag+glovebox strut bracket when the car was empathy shell
