Default Found my window sticker!

Pretty cool to find, it was folded-in with tire receipts, etc., but it's all there!!

Originally delivered through Rosemont Imports, in the Philly area.

Has "Spec lthr / lthtt bot-silver gray"
Side molding with sunroof
limited slip differential $775

Model Designation Side 928S-4
Piping In Leather $32
Welting in leather $832

Gas guzzler tax $650

Total w/ prep was over $68k

What is welting in leather?

Hmmmm...

You learn something every day, if you keep an open mind and pay attention.

I thought it was just the part of a shoe where the sole meets the side.

Nice find, 68 large is still a lot even by today's standards! Looks like my 87 has a very similar "Silver Grey" interior color. Does not have the welting and piping though.

Your post about finding your "window sticker" reminded me of Andrew O.'s thread on making your own window sticker from a template https://rennlist.com/forums/928-foru...-stickers.html

See post #85 in the thread for the window sticker generator. Don't know if it still works, but anyone wanting to create their own window sticker can try it.

I like the welting and piping! Really makes it look "finished"! What a great looking interior!

Thanks. Honestly, I never saw another w/ those options, but am sure it's gotta be out there. Really a nice contrast between seats and carpet, I think.

Very nice looking indeed. My 90GT has special order silk grey leather seats with black piping, and the contrasting welting on the carpet as well, although mine has light grey carpet with black welting. I think the contrasting piping adds a great look to the seats. Cool that you found your window sticker. Was fortunate to find mine with the owners manuals when I bought the car.

Needs a good cleaning and drivers bolster (strategically not shown) needs repair... but here are a couple of pics.

Nice interior, as the piping really defines the lines. Makes it much more detailed, for a simple thing.

I wonder how many cars got this, as I really don't recall seeing it before.

Interesting ... is the contrasting welting on the carpet, just at the rear tunnel area (as seen in the pics), or other areas, like the binding on the front and rear mats, the trunk carpet, etc.?
