Trailer looks great, and probably practical for many uses beyond the car hauling duties

I have a 6.0 PS, head studs, and all other bulletproof stuff

I've rented many a U-Haul trailer. They are a great deal @ $50/day (local rental, returned to the same depot)

As you know the tow rating is 7700 lbs. and so far I've found that it handles my 928 and U-Haul trailer very easily. Pulls the mountains very well, don't even have to slow down, though so far I've only had to go over summits that are in the 7000-8000 ft range. It's also very stable, doesn't seem to have any side to side wiping issues. Mine also has the factory tow package as well as air suspension.

Default U-Haul seems to be a favorite...

Old red on her way to get some steam cleaning done ($50.00).

Used a U-Haul to bring old blacky home from Ohio, pulled nicely ($325.00).

Would like to get an enclosed soon, though...for car shows and extra parking in the winter.

Brian.

+1 to the 6.0 PS. I'm about to have mine bullet proofed.

The uhaul trailer is surprisingly a great deal. The tie downs suck if you're running 30+ tires (like my ranch truck). It pulls easy though... My diesel easily runs 75 across west Texas hauling my ranch truck. I've also used the uhaul trailer to pull my previous 928 behind the wife's gas Excursion.

Here's ours, same tractor as George's except our cooling pipes had already blown and been replaced... Tows great, '05 twin-turbo with gobs of torque.

Here's my new 82 hooked to my '95 F250 7.3L Powerstroke on the way to the shop yesterday. Nothing like a little haul up the mountains to clear the big diesel out.
