Good point. My 928 is so original-condition perfect that I just can't bring myself to mess with the turbo option. But you made me conjur up plan B....buy a second S4 with high mileage, questionable drive train but decent body for say $8k, and then install john's turbo solution on this vehicle...best of both worlds maybe.

Scott, great history and alternative to building a 928. I too thought about the route you ultimately decided to follow with the S2, it is a more cost effective way to achieve same (or maybe better) performance thrills. Thanks much for the link!
