Las Vegas NV Mechanic
I have a friend who needs a recommendation for an honest Porsche mechanic in Las Vegas.
I usually do my own work so don't know what to advise.
Any help?
Thanks

If your friend is looking for a 928 Mech, look up Tony on this forum. He's the man in Vegas and usually willing to lend a hand.

Thanks for the responses.
I was in a hurry yesterday and didn't give the whole story -
Friend with 2004 Boxter heard loud bang while driving - car would no longer move. Had it towed to dealer was told it was a bad driveshaft but maybe also severe engine damage, and could cost $15,000 to repair depending on further exam. As the car was being removed from the dealer, the mechanic offered him $5,000 for the car as is.
I am really short of time right now so can't be of help.
Will send him to shop recommended.
Thanks again.

Could be the infamous IMS failure- there's a shop selling with free install engine on Ebay for @ $7k.
