Michael,

I do have all the back seat pieces as well in black and had the same idea about a possible ottoman. Might play around with that.

The table turned out pretty nice. The 24" glass might be a little better, but the 20" glass still rests on the sidewalls nicely. The glass is very heavy, probably 3/8" thick and beveled around the edge. I used an S4 rear wheel for the top. The glass would probably contact the middle part of the wheel if pre-S4 wheels were used.

I have some pics of the finished table, but for some reason can't post pics today. I get "Alert - Couldn't add image".

Picture posting is mysteriously fixed now...

BTW, I checked out the thread on x98boardwells's chair and it's gorgeous...

Here's some pics of the table I built.

Default Thanks!

Don,

Thanks for the compliments on my project like yours.

I do also like the table idea... great way to use wheels/tires while they are technically in storage. I have a couple 964 Turbo wheels that I could do this with. I wonder if it would ever make sense without rubber as mine don't currently have any.

Keep up the great ideas!!

Cheers,
Bryan

The table and chair really came out great. I had buddy do the brewery tour at Saint Arnold a few years back, said it was a must next time I'm in Houston.

ECS Tuning,

You spotted the Houston brewed beer, good eyes! You must have done some serious zooming on that low res pic...

I'm loving this chair and am sitting in it now. I work from home a lot, so have been spending all day in it. So far it has stayed in the house more than the garage.
