Default DFW 928 Breakfast Gathering Saturday 12/6

Join a a group of 928 Owners this Saturday for Breakfast at 8am at Chef's Point Cafe located in Watauga Texas.

All the food at Chef's Point is A+ stuff. The 928s are AWESOME (for the most part anyway). The 928 Owner's themselves....well, I've been hanging out with them once a month (more or less) for years. They put up with me, so they must be alright.

Come Join us and see for yourself. Bring a friend and stay a while. Car talk is a-plenty.

See Ya There!

Here's the video from Guy Fieri's Diners Drive Ins and Dives at Chef Point:

I'll be there but I don't know which car I'll be driving. Should be the Stepson, though. Maybe the '89

So you'll have the GPS then?

Well wouldn't you know it, Carole and I are competing in the "Deck the Trails 5K" run through the beautiful park & nature trails in Coppell Saturday morning at 8.

Not sure I can run fast enough to finish my race and then race over to a healthy breakfast of, well...bacon, eggs, gravy and biscuits (and sweet iced tea of course).
Nor am I sure any of you would allow Carole to sit at the same table with you fine upper crust types after she runs her event.

Don't want y'all to forget us though...

Hope to be there in all my lipstick glory. I have a few bits to put back on my TB/WP job, but I think I can finish on Fri.

Sorry, not a fan of the food there. Maybe I'm the only one but my potatoes were way undercooked and very oily, my Eggs were so-so, and the tea bag I got was from the Truman administration, which is common. The plate Laura got was massive. Maybe the metric ****-ton of food she got made up for the average preparation.

Doc - the problem is every where we go someone does not like the food. It is difficult to find a venue everyone likes. You get the job of choosing the venue for the January meeting - just let Laura know 8>)

Man, I open my big fat mouth, and that's what I get. Understand about the issue with getting consensus.

I'll check around, and see what I can do.

I Believe in QUALITY over QUANTITY when it comes to food.

The French Dip Sandwich WAS GI-NORMOUS and it was as BIG on TASTE AS IT WAS IN SIZE....DELICIOUS!
