That's alot of 928 for the bucks... and competition optioned as well!

Might I suggest you may be selling your 928 short? However I may be completely wack on the 928 market.

That is a very nice car for not a lot of money and should be snapped up.

I thought two keys to the comp package were sport seats and 3-spoke steering wheel.

I was just reading his signature and assumed. Tony, is this a comp optioned 928?

You are right re the sport seats.

First time reading that re the 3-spoke however. Curious on that one for sure... love the 3-spoke wheel!

Front & rear spoilers were part of the Comp. package or someone had them fitted. In 82 they were only available with the Comp. package.

IIRC 80 & 81 included sport seats in the Comp. package but in 82 they became an extra option.

Yes, it is a comp package with comfort seats. As for the steering wheel, I can't speak to whether it is original. Could be a replacement if the comp came with a three spoke.

Driver's bolster pic as requested.

That would make sense.

Porsche could have made things a lot easier if they had just added an option code to include spoilers on the US cars.
Let's face it, since the EuroS motor wasn't on the table, most US buyers only cared about the appearance of the spoiler look.
Calling an appearance upgrade "Competition Package" has sure misled a few of us over the years.

Let's face it, marketing wasn't Porsche's strength in the 80's, not that it has improved much today.

Why are you keeping the auto and selling the five speed?
If I was only able to keep one of mine, I'd keep my manual.
So just curious if there's a story behind that decision...

How many miles are on it? (didn't see that mentioned anywhere).
We're looking for an affordable manual (project) for my son...
