Hey the surgical lube works well by the way.
In the home stretch. Thanks to Dadddio and his wife for help this morning getting glass back on.
I need to do some interior work now and detail a few places, but overall coming together pretty well.

I'm too awestruck. I can barely handle a rattle-can...

I got stuff going on at work and stuff going on at home, and I bet everybody else does too -- that pre-holiday rush can be pretty brutal.
Shawn, thanks -- could have been beginner's luck.
Matt, I appreciate all the help, you have been a great mentor: it's also okay to be protective of your student.
Shows good character buddy!

Hey no worries, but that's high praise coming from somebody who knows what he is doing.

Thanks Gerald!
I will try and get her cleaned up and off floor jacks for some pics in the sunlight.
One thing I did not hit on is the large amount of space left behind in the interior of the hatch, after the wiper delete.
I looked at several different options, but ended up fabricating a plate to cover any dead space. Another rivet job I'm afraid, but after paint it has a fairly low cosmetic impact.
I took the time to change the hatch latch, spring, and pin while I had everything apart.
Sidebar: I knew the spring was in the lock somewhere: but when I opened the latch mechanism up, it shoots across the room...Dammit.
Then I was like a Gorilla with a Rubik's cube, trying to figure out how it went back together.
