Default plastic bumper cover paint removal

anyone have any info on stripping plastic bumper covers?i have tried sem bumper strip but have gone through about four cans on the front alone and still have not finished louver area.is it easier to just sand from 80 grit down?thanks

I took my rear cover to a bead blasting shop; They were a little over-aggressive and the end result was pretty rough, but the paint shop was able to finish sand it just fine. Subsequently, I found another shop that probably would have provided a little smoother shell for the paint shop.

get the PU covers blasted with walnut shells this will do the least amount of collateral damage

I have a friend who does high end restorations (high five figures to low 6 figures are the norm). He has all media blasting techniques available in his shop. When I suggested he use walnut shells he agreed it was better than harder and sharper media, but he said he wanted to use soda blasting because it's even more gentle. There are some impressive soda blasting videos on YouTube. It just takes the paint.
