It seems where he goes, the market goes.

OK, so he's planning on some day buying a 928.

I guess I can become an instant Ferrari expert by just saying that it's 'on the list'?

Magnus Walker is a great story. I love the videos/interviews/etc with him and his 911s, so if he were to get on board with the 928 that could do some things for public perception, and perhaps market value. Very cool...

He actually talked about my 928 at the Pinehurst Concours Fairway Drive this past year. My car is the red 928 at about 5:50.

There are many ways to generate interest in 928's. Magnus Walker is just one of them...and a good one at that.

Cool vid Tom... well done. Your 928 looks amazing!

I'd just like to see what he'd do with one.

I was going to post a thread about a comment Magnus Walker made about 928s when he was the Guest of Honor at the Ponte Vedra Car Show in Sept., but just didn't get around to it.

At the Sat. night dinner prior to the show on Sunday, there was a question and answer period after Magnus spoke. He was asked by someone what he saw as the next collector car as a good investment. Question was roughly, "You seem to have a knack for knowing what cars are good investments, like your foresight with the early model 911s. I have about $50k to invest, and would like to buy some collector cars that have good potential for appreciation in the near future. What do you suggest I go and buy?" Magnus's answer was basically, "I'd go and buy as many good 928's that you can."

I think Magnus might be impressed with what Matt Mariani has done with his Gulf blue 928RS.

I've gotta say that I think us 928 guys are the true Porsche enthusiasts. We seem to appreciate all Porsches, at least thats the case for me. Friends laughed when I sold my E46 M3 and went back to a 928. I just really dig 'em.
