post LED conversion problems

Default post LED conversion problems

after getting everything back together i have a few issues.



the light switch is always illuminated when the key in on...

also the speedo is 15 mph low and the odometer is not working.... any ideas before i remove the pod?

never noticed it before....LOL....
thats funny that i now notice it...

big improvement on the led

any thoughts on the speedo?

how do you KNOW the speedometer is 15 mph low?,
..Did you replace the gear?.. I've read there are different gears. YMMV
.. Are you running on 15 inch phone dial wheels?

I'm sorry, but I have not been playing along, did you have a speedo issue before you converted to LED's?

Speedo was perfect before
Did not mess with gears

did you take the needle off by chance?

I did this for my tach and the needle went back on a bit loose. The first few times i revved the car the shaft would spin on the needle...then the car would cruise at 80mph turning 900 rpm!
simple fix...
just a spot of glue on the shaft before adding the needle again...had to pull the cluster though

i think that may be the issue...

i was hoping for someone to have an easy 2 minute fix.....lol. no such luck

reference an old pic you may have to know where to place the needle when at a stand still. I think the tach had a small white reference mark.
